His work came to the attention of King George 3rd of Great Britain (also Elector of Hannover) who encouraged Ramberg to come to London, where he provided support.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 12.5px;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRamberg may have been a student of Sir Joshua Reynolds and Francesco\u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Francesco_Bartolozzi\" title=\"Francesco Bartolozzi\"\u003e \u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBartolozzi, he studied under Sir Benjamin West at the Royal Academy Schools and in 1782 he began exhibiting at the Royal Academy.
