Early 18th.Century Dutch Delftware Drug Bottle Circa.1740. Decorated with A.Saxifragiae within a cartouche. 26.5 cms high. Saxifrage water was used in the treatment of wounds, to ease digestion, respiratory complaints, kidney and urinary diseases.
