Early Victorian English School lithograph trade card by Charles Bigot (fl.1820-50) advertising Samuel Knights, Printseller No.3 Sweeting Alley Cornhill London. The Above is a Correct View of the Well Known Shop, No.3 Sweetings Alley, Cornhill. Lately the freehold property of Samuel Knights, Printseller & Framemaker, who has removed to No.6 Change Alley, opposite Garraways Coffee House. The Committee appointed to rebuild the Royal Exchange having purchased his old Establishment and awarded him the sum of Fifteen Hundred Pounds. Provenance: Sir Ambrose Heal.
