Admiral Lord Nelson. Large Mezzotint engraving by Charles Turner after John Hoppner Published by Colnaghi London on the day of Nelsons funeral 1806. Printed on wove paper, trimmed and time worn (to no real detriment in my opinion) Presented in an early 19th.Century gilt gesso and ebonised frame. 55.3 by 75.8 cms overall in frame (frame has wear and knocks as to be expected).
