Study of a young woman in a coral-coloured dress and bonnet sitting on a chair, repairing a piece of clothing, the seamstress, the composition after an engraving by Pierre Maleuvre 1740 - 1803. Gouache on vellum stretched on wooden panel, Circa.1770. 24.5 by 31 cms. Presented in a period carved ebonised fruitwood frame.
