Saunders was an extremely productive, itinerant pastel portraitist. He worked mainly in East Anglia and the South of England in the first decades of the eighteenth century.
26.5 by 36.2 cms image. 31 by 41cms. In carved 18th.Century ebonised fruitwood Hogarth style frame. Some slight surface rubbing and time related marking to no real detriment.
