Born in London, Olver studied at the Royal Academy Schools between 1901 and1906. She specialized in portraits and figure subjects, exhibiting widely including at the Royal Academy, The Society of Women Artists, The Royal Glasgow Institute and The Paris Salon. She also illustrated a number of books including Robert Louis Stevenson’s A Child’s Garden of Verse.
