Rose Parisot Ca.1775-1837. Was a celebrated French Opera singer and ballerina of the early 19th.Century. She debuted in Paris in 1789 to great success.  Moving to London following the guillotining of her father in 1796. Here she both scandalised and entertained society by performing in the scantiest and sheerest of costumes. Denounced in Parliament as 'indecent'  She was known for her magical balance and flexibility often performing with her breasts exposed or shockingly in male attire. Attempts at suppressing her performances could end in riot. She eventually retired in 1807 after which she married a successful Soho Florist. She died in Paris in 1837.
