Maria Foote 1797-1867 Was a very successful actress of the early 19th.Century, performing throughout the United Kingdom and on the Continent. Known for her singing, dancing and performances on the harp and guitar. In 1831 she married Charles Stanhope 4th Earl of Harrington and left the Stage behind her.
