Harriot Mellon 1777-1837 Celebrated Regency period actress and businesswoman, she married Thomas Coutts in 1815 who left her his fortune and share in Coutts bank when he died in 1822. Secondly she married William Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk, 9th Duke of St Albans. Upon her death she left the majority of her estate to Coutts' granddaughter, Angela Burdett-Coutts, the Victorian philanthropist.
