George Damer, 2nd Earl of Dorchester 1746-1808. Viscount Milton. Politician and soldier served as Chief Secretary for Ireland between 1794 and 1795. In the 1760s he and his brother went on the Grand Tour accompanied by libertine Thomas Lyttelton during which Damer became involved with a young Italian Coachman causing a scandal resulting in the Coachmans family having to be bought off.
